(updated 8/22/10)

We attended Hops 101 this past spring hosted by the NE Hops Alliance and the newly formed Cornell Hops Institute. We planted 300 new rhizomes this spring in the field. For more info about the NeHA, go to www.northeasthopalliance.org

2009
We are interested in bringing commercial hop production back to the Upper Hudson/Champlain Region. We planted the first of the hops in 2009. After a better-than-expected result, we have decided to increase the size of the hop yard considerably next year.

We should have our first commercial harvest in 2012, as the plants take three years to reach full yield after they are planted. We will have small amounts of hops for sale in 2010 for those interested in using locally-grown hops in their homebrews!

Contact us by phone or email if you would like to purchase hops.
